Another rather lovely thing...

I do not claim any of these pictures as my own unless specified.

Each post is a small peek into the person I call myself that I am constantly exploring.

Crown Royal

lovechanelandbasketball:

Your hands on my hips,
Pull me right back to you.
I catch that thrust,
Give it right back to you.
You’re in so deep,
I’m breathing for you.
You grab my braids,
Arch my back high for you.
Your diesel engine,
I’m squirting mad oil, ah.
Down on the floor,
Till my speaker starts to boil.
I flip shit.
Quick slip.
Hip dip.
And I’m twisted
In your hands and your lips
And your tongue tricks.
And you’re so thick.
And you’re so thick.
And you’re so…
Crown Royal on ice.

It’s peculiar how
Two people
Can drift
Incredibly close
Yet never really
touch,

While others
Touch often
Yet seem
So far apart-

Sometimes
Love is too hard
To comprehend.

Cuddling another human
Is, one of my favorite things
Two body, tangled in slumber
Heavy like sandbags
Like pigeons in a nest, roosting
Like babies in a bassinet, cooing
Good friends can do it, really
You don’t have to be my lover-
Platonic cuddles work too
I just want to spoon with you
I’ll even rub your back
If you ask me to
Press my face in to your chest
Just like the cats do.

“Love Note”

There are certain things that we just need to stop dealing with. If you don’t like it, get rid of it and if you REALLY don’t want it, STOP using it to fill your emptiness! Why do we torture ourselves?  No one is going to acknowledge your potential, even if they see it, when you’re overlooking it. It’s not anyone else’s job to validate you or your worth and when we learn this, our lives will become easier, more calm and secure. We are so busy seeking love elsewhere that we often forget to look in the mirror. Every day we are granted the blessing to stare love in the face but instead we look past ourselves in hopes that someone else will see our beauty first. We can’t keep forgetting to love ourselves, it’s unfair. Nor should we selfishly wonder why others don’t love us the way we’d like them too if we can’t truly adore who God made us—there is your answer. Stop searching, looking, seeking and driving yourself insane; you’re going to ruin your heart and destroy your mind. Get rid of poisonous people and detrimental attachments. You deserve to be happy and unless you like feeling ruined and unsure, you should openly embrace change and readily stand in love with yourself.  -@Alex_Elle

alexelle.com: Look for Truth

alexandraelle:

I won’t look at you for long
because the love in my eyes
will tell my deepest secret which I’m not yet prepared to share

To an extent, I am unwilling to tell him things

I feel are worth savoring in the midst of moments

and

I can’t get in return what I’m not ready to give…

dinahsays:

“I want to see you.

Know your voice.

Recognize you when you
first come ‘round the corner.

Sense your scent when I come
into a room you’ve just left.

Know the lift of your heel,
the glide of your foot.

Become familiar with the way
you purse your lips
then let them part,
just the slightest bit,
when I lean in to your space
and kiss you.

I want to know the joy
of how you whisper
“more”

alexandraelle:

Even after,
every unanswered text message
missed phone call
ignored love letter
lack of reciprocation
and
consideration…
Even after,
unacknowledged feelings
broken promises
deleted numbers
the urge to erase the pictures that
I really want to keep
and
missing someone who doesn’t…

I cannot and will not ever be
the bad bitch you dream of

My ass isn’t the “phatest” and my face isn’t “flawless”

My hair isn’t bone straight nor down to my ass
and my breasts are barely a full B
but I’m loyal, faithful and I have class…

My handbags aren’t all designer and the bottom of my…
